1st Annual: a success!

Thanks to all who came out to support this year's Pics for Paws. The event was a great success with 31 pets and proceeded estimated around $400 for our local SPCA! 

We look forward to making this an annual event that locals and pet owners look forward to each spring!

The Perfect Beach Day! Here on the OBX

Wow! The weather has been so wonderful the past week. Couldn't be much better for Family Portraits and Weddings! Looking forward to another gorgeous and busy week ahead.

Wrapping up the final shoot for the book!

Final shoot for the new book was Thursday!...it was a long one.
In chest waders, in the sound, 3 locations, from 10am to 6pm. Whew! It was a blast!

Getting Geared up for the Season

I'm getting really excited for the upcoming Outer Banks photography season! Over the next month I hope to share with you all that I've been up to during the OBX winter months! I'm thinking the best format may be to start with today and work back...

Shorebird Shoot
This project was started 2 months ago, doing studio shoots at home of Kroghie Andresen and Philip Harvey's private North Carolina Shorebird Decoy Collections. Today I am on the road shooting: first stop was in Raleigh (last night) with the North Carolina Decoy Association to shoot their private collections...now I'm riding to Harker's Island!
